They replaced the old CD jukebox with one that has mp3's and almost every song you could want!
I went for a cheeseburger at Seafood City. YUM! Say Hello to my good buddy Dino!
Note: The Shrimp is crispy, tasty and succulent! Excellence!

That is NOT my van!
Behind the Anthony Ambrosini Baseball Field and school is a park.
I will return to this park, when the sky is blue and it is sunnier.
This used to be Ratsey Sails and United Boat Works where they built warboats during World War II. I think this was also called Nevins Boat Works.
I am hoping I will get to image the Puffins that sometimes visit the southeast end of this island. These birds are often called Clown of The Sea or Sea Parrots.

These images show City Island and Rodman's Neck from the west side of Eastchester Bay.
I got two pizza's at Loretta's Pizza and visited a nice place to view City Island, over on Bayshore Avenue in Country Club / Spencer Estates.
http://www.google.com/maphp?hl=en&q=&ie=UTF8&ll=40.847718,-73.816377&spn=0.003587,0.007231&t=h&om=1
Note that many streets over in Spencer Estates are named after Radio stuff, Ampere Avenue, Watt Avenue, Ohm Avenue, Radio Lane, Research Avenue, Library Avenue.....
These buildings at Rodman's Neck Outdoor Range are fake buildings used to train NYPD police in simulated urban combat scenarios. The FBI paid for them and were constructed over objections of nearby residents all around Eastchester Bay.
A visit to Mister Softee by Rice Stadium makes a cool treat on this Sunny blue Sky day!
Well, it seems like I have got to take you all around on this little island, but I still have much to image here.
I am fixing my Dad's new 16 foot fiberglass speedboat named The Magic Christian II, so I plan on taking you on a boat tour all around the island!
Now that is Supercool!
I have made inquiries into flying over by helicopter and it is too expensive at $1500 per flight.
I will look into an alternative to a charter flight. |

King Hing on Westchester Avenue, Capone poster, Pelham Bay Park Station, 7/11 on Westchester Avenue.
Swans & Geese, New USA Flag, Pelham Bridge a porkchop bascule, City Island Bridge
City Island Avenue and Fordham Street, Fordham Street hill
There is my "Uncle" Russell Schaller chewing the fat at the diner. Victorian Spire on Fordham St and Browns Lane behind diner. Every year Russell digs up a few of the stainless steel jacks and catseyes & aggie marbles in his front yard, that I left there back in 1959! They are valueable nowadays! |

A Cheeseburger visit to Seafood City led me to my birds over at Stelters Marina where someone with a houseboat fed the Swans and cygnets.
I had to squeeze the camera between the chainlink fence.
Still too busy with the boat. |

Darn weather! It will not cooperate, so I am fixing the seats up.
A visit down the Cemetary shoreline at low tide during this dreary overcast stormy windy day shows the two Swans alone on the sandy beach...
I walked all the way along he shore amongst the barnacled rocks covered in slippery sea moss.
I let Cyrus aka Bernie, get close to me so I could get a closeup of him.
A jellyfish lies nearby drying up.
The Motorcycle is still on the beach. I think it was inside a cabin cruiser when it crashed into the beach! Someone kept a chopper in his boat to visit places in Long Island Sound! Clever! |

The Tropical Storm Ernesto, landed a sailboat on the rocky shore of the cemetery beach at low tide. It was not too badly damaged, so it was refloated at high tide and taken away for repairs.....
A very old cabin cruiser circles the island twice a year at least..... |

The Swan family comes for breakfast... Beta's wings are getting worse.....
A visit to Dunkin Donuts brings back memories of the old Donut Shoppe where the diner is now. Next door Dean is on the cellphone.... He should have it implanted, he's always on it! Cookie Monster wants more! COOKIE!
The Meatball Marinara Hero was an "A" , but the Tuscan Chicken got an "F"!

An early morning visit to Connie's New Way Market for some bread makes me look for something interesting to image on West Fordham Street. I visited the beach and made this panorama. Some wild edible Chicory weeds grow blue flowers in mid-October on East Ditmars Street dead end.

Rat Island was flooded in two during a recent Noreaster storm! |

Some of you are wondering, why I did not take the boat and photograph the island, by now......
I'm sorry to say this, but the outboard engine is badly damaged internally and will require a lot of time and money to repair. The valves are burnt out, the piston rings needs replacing. It's a whole engine job and we haven't got the time right now.
So, because of this, Dad is putting it into storage for the Winter.
Maybe next Spring.
Mom says, that's the way the cookie crumbles!
This new website was created at easyphpbb.com because this is better.
The old one was deleted.
Fulltimewebmaster was very unreliable and Wikipedia banned it a spam.
esayphpbb.com is better beacuse the subdomain name is easy for us to remember.
I have had very few blackouts with this forum hosting.

Notice the Glacial Straitions in the Manhattan Schist bedrock!
A bicycle visit up to Twin Island / Hunters Island / Orchard Beach is cause for another panorama!
At Ambrosini Field are tiny black videocameras next to the floodlights....

This is my favorite Burger King at Westchester Avenue and the Hutchinson River Parkway East next to 7/11 convienience store.
I ate there for lunch today as you can see.
Notice the table shaped like a 57 Chevy and the jukebox.
I seldom go inside cause it is a drive thru.
Westchester Avenue has an elevated Subway train nearby.
